As Chief Operating Officer of ExamWorks UK, Maria Hardwidge leads the group's operational strategy, with particular emphasis on technological innovation and merger and acquisition activities as EWUK continues to expand its market presence through strategic acquisitions and digital transformation within the wider healthcare sector.

With over twenty years' experience in the health and PI Industry, she plays a crucial role in shaping the company's growth through strategic acquisitions, digital transformation and operational effectiveness.

Working alongside the CEO and Executive Team, Maria develops and implements group-wide business strategy, focusing on EBITDA growth and M&A activities. She oversees collaboration between group companies, maximises operational synergies, and ensures successful integration of new acquisitions.

Prior to her appointment as COO, Maria successfully led Premex Group as Managing Director and transformed ExamWorks UK's Government division, establishing crucial strategic partnerships. Her expertise spans start-ups, government contracts, and managing multiple brands. She is particularly passionate about fostering a unified corporate culture across the ExamWorks UK group, building on her successful track record of creating collaborative, high-performing teams.
